Rachel Kiel, very dear to my heart, is getting the funding together for her next album, which will be her second. She's using Kickstarter, a crowdsourcing website, to fund it because she's gotta pay session musicians and pay for studio time and pay her producer, Jerry Brown, who I hear is an expert, and pay for mixing and mastering and production and all that stuff. She's gonna be working in the Rubber Room in Chapel Hill, which I hear
Bland Simpson loves, and Bland Simpson is also dear to our hearts just like Rachel, isn't he?
Anyway, I'm really excited about the songs Rachel's got for this cd, and I've already made a pledge over on her Kickstarter page, which you can visit below.
