Billboard Top 10 Songs - 2007-10-20

(Date in title is the "Issue Date" from billboard.com.)

I guess these songs being primarily terrible is standard. But dear god, actually listening to most of them in a row...

Soulja Boy: Crank Dat. I'm okay with this. It's fun. let's move on.

Kanye - Stronger: Kanye's just... a bad vocalist. and a bad lyricist. He really needs to leave his beats for others. I actually don't like what he did here, productionwise, except the chorus. I do like his drum programming in this song, I just wish it wasn't over Daft Punk.

Britney Spears - Gimme More: Do I need to point out how bad this makes her look?

Timbaland - Apologize: I hope this song disappears.

Timbaland - The Way I Are: I hope this song disappears.

J Holiday - Bed: Finally, a successful chorus. I roll for this one.

Colbie Caillat - Bubbly: At first I said "no get it away" and then I sort of tuned out and ignored it for a few.

Alicia Keys - No One: This whole video reminds me of when shoots on America's Top Model suck huge balls. Nothing in this whole list is as awkward as Keys in that shiny dress-thing, standing next to that keyboard, rocking back and forth and occasionally hitting one note.

Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry: that countoff... doesn't actually count off to the song... unless the song were in, approximately, 10/8. Parts of these verses sound like "Silent Treatment." Chorus comes in... ok I'm done here.

Kanye - The Good Life: man, this album must have been expensive.
