Hidden amidst the Sunkist bullshit grapefruits was a gem, waiting to be recognized. Just as large as the many flavorless, unexciting fruits it sat upon, this indistinct baby was waiting for the right man to recognize her potential, tear the slices off, and nibble upon her. I wouldn't have known she was different except her label, a simple "Texas Rio Star" with a bar code below. My curiosity piqued, I pounced. Under the firm skin, the pink layer peeled away to reveal sweet, glistening fruit. It tasted like candy. Good job, Fresh Market. This enormous grapefruit offered "More Bounce to the Ounce."
