Violence

"Gee, I Like Your Pants." "Frownland." This jabbersome violence is most satsifying.

Hot Sauce Reviews - Trinidad Habanero

Trinidad Habanero pepper sauce, Extra Hot

heat rating: 2. (Not hot.)
Labeled "extra hot," this one is not, which makes me wonder what the version just labeled "hot" is like. Its unobtrusive flavor and low heat level have enabled me to finish almost half the bottle in 2 weeks. However, if you use enough, things do heat up. But "enough" is teaspoon-loads.
Trini's exciting ingredients list includes ginger, mustard and various herbs, which are well blended, but don't add up to anything exciting flavorwise. The flavor is pleasant. I recommend this sauce for newbies or for people who want the satisfaction of finishing a bottle of hot sauce in record time. This one's kind of disappointing, but at least it doesn't taste crazy (I'm looking at you, Dat Sauce.)

young vs. old songwriters

some young songwriters aren't writing climaxes. they'd prefer to sit along the river prettily for 4 minutes and fade out at that point. The best of the young songwriters know to bust out with a big triumphant, cathartic finale.

but the old songwriters know that sometimes things die ugly. songs aren't worth finishing out with a big thumping whoop. things turn evil and fester, leaving you with only the choice of running away or watching the horror.

the work of the young songwriters will not stay with us as we get older.
